Hong Kong based racing driver Dan Wells will race at Zhuhai International Circuit, China, this weekend (Sept 19/20/21) competing in Round 5 of the 2014 Formula Masters China Series with KCMG.

Off the back of a stellar debut in British F3, where Wells took a podium in his first ever F3 race and the Mobil One Driver of the Weekend Award, Dan returns for action at his 'home race' - just an hour on the ferry from Hong Kong. 

Official practice took place on Wednesday and Thursday with a total of 3 hours running, and Dan topped 3 of the 4 sessions. Wells is sporting a new partner which is displayed on his car this weekend, with backing coming from Carbroso (http://www.carbroso.com/). 

Dan said, "It has been a busy few weeks but I'm pleased to be returning to Formula Masters for this weekend. The testing we've had here has gone well so I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'd like to say a big thank you to Rick Chan and the team at Carbroso for their support this weekend and hope this can be a formula for success".

Two qualifying sessions will take place on Friday. The checkered flag will be dropped for race one on Friday afternoon, with a further two races on Saturday before a final race on Sunday.
