After two test streaks, first at Virginia Raceway in Virginia and then at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, Justin Arseneau and Louka St-Jean, the ICAR Canada Racing Team recruits, are well prepared for the American F4 Championship. The first round will be held this weekend, from March 25th to 28th, 2021, on the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta circuit.
Having been on forced shutdown for a year because of the pandemic, this is the first-ever official Formula 4 race for the two 15-year-old rising stars.
“The test days have been super beneficial. With my engineers, we optimized the settings on my car, it had a good impact on my performance, commented Arseneau. Can't wait to race this weekend! ".
As for St-Jean, the tests also proved valuable: “Track time is really important to gain comfort and confidence. I feel ready for the first round of the championship! ".
Although the competition is fierce, with many drivers enjoying extensive experience behind the wheel of their Formula 4, the ICAR Canada Racing Team, powered by Continental Tire Canada, is aiming to carve out its place in Atlanta this weekend.
